Creative Director, JWT London
Jo Wallace is a creative director with almost 20 years experience in the advertising industry, working at agencies such as HHCL & Partners, WCRS, Saatchi & Saatchi, Quiet Storm, Tribal/Adam & Eve and many more. She’s worked on all sorts of brands from Amazon, to KitKat. She is also the founder and host of Good Girls Eat Dinner, providing kick-ass, female creative role models across the creative industries. Jo has directed ads for work and written and directed short films for fun, which were selected to screen at various global film festivals, including Cannes Lions.
She loves ideas that affect social change. Or at least go beyond the brief. While she was at Saatchi & Saatchi, she was asked to give a talk about being a female creative director. Instead she curated an exhibition that showcased and celebrated female creative talent, reaching a far wider audience than a talk ever could have. Twenty incredible female artists contributed, including Alison Jackson, Sara Pope and Pam Glew. The exhibition received extensive press coverage, such as a double page spread in The Independent, articles in Campaign, Creative Review, plus live interviews on BBC Radio.
