Alex is Head of Creative at Virgin Holidays, where he’s responsible for design, branding and (no points for guessing) creative. Since joining the company in 2015, he’s led a complete refresh of Virgin Holidays’ brand identity, and worked on the launch of its new brand platform, Seize the Holiday.

Alex spends more time with pictures than words these days, but he’s still a copywriter at heart. He’s a big believer in the Orwell/Ogilvy maxim that people who think well, write well, and he reckons that companies would be a lot better off if they hired more people who think like writers.

Before joining Virgin Holidays, Alex worked at Barclaycard, NetJets and Cobra Beer.
